Our Love Letter to NYC

Referred to as our “love letter to NYC,” The MCU Foundation was established by MCU’s executive leadership team so as to leverage giving and relationships with and through community organizations—directing philanthropic efforts towards issues that mean so much to us.

The mission of The MCU Foundation is simple: to help New Yorkers build generational wealth and eliminate poverty in New York City. We are dedicated to improving the lives of our community and members through financial education and empowerment.

Some of the hardest-working people in New York City have difficulty affording the most basic necessities, such as food, clothing, and shelter. The MCU Foundation will provide financial support directly to our neighbors who need it most.

Education plays a fundamental role in putting New Yorkers on the path to creating generational wealth. Whether used for a traditional college degree or a certification, The MCU Foundation will provide scholarships to help New Yorkers excel in their careers.
